Description
Join other Girl Scouts on an adventure to Utah’s first National Park. Follow the paths and gaze up at massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink, and red that soar into the brilliant blue sky. The canyon is home to 15 ft walls of natural beauty. Experience the thrill of hiking in one of the most iconic parks in America as you explore the famous hiking locations such as Whispering Willows and the Narrows. Along your hiking adventure you’ll reach Canyon Overlook, Emerald Pool, Lower and Zion Narrows, along with Weeping Rock which is perfect for picture taking. At the end of the hiking day every participant will attend the Broadway show Annie at the famous Tuacahn Theater. This trip includes round-trip private bus charter; guided hiking through the canyon; two-nights hotel accommodations; an official National Park patch for each youth attending, and admission to the Tuacahn theater for Annie. Two hot breakfasts are also included for each participant.
Who: 2nd-yr. Girl Scout Juniors (w/ chaperone), Girl Scout Cadettes, Girl Scout Seniors, and Girl Scout Ambassadors. Adults, tag-along siblings (age 10yrs and older), friends and families are all welcome with signed release!
